implants where the risk is high and the need to replace imminent at some point in time. The fat that is injected into the

There are significant benefits to using a patient’s own fat to augment and/or lift the buttocks. The majority of the grafted fat is permanent and there is no need to worry about implant related complications. The fat is collected through
liposuction of the abdomen, trunk and thigh areas. The fat is then purified and only the best fat cells harvested and injected into the buttocks in tunnels in the layers of the buttocks.
The majority of the fat is able to re-establish its natural blood supply in the buttocks thus remaining alive. When done correctly, 70-80% of the transplanted fat will remain alive. In other words, there is a small chance that 20-30%, might be reabsorbed.

There is a brief recovery period that includes no sitting directly on your buttocks for two weeks. A special garment is worn for six weeks that controls swelling. Most women can resume working after a few days as long as they do not sit for prolonged periods of time. The use of a rolled towel or inflatable ring takes pressure off your buttocks during those two weeks.
It is very important to take supplements I’ll recommend that will enhance the blood flow to that newly grafted area of fat so that it receives the highest amount of healing nutrients. This will promote the newly transplanted fat to live. Within two weeks, most normal activities can be resumed. You may experience subtle swelling for 6 to 8 weeks but this should not interfere with normal activities.
